Cast Eyeballs, Eye Trays, and Winker Shells

   These cast eye balls are 1 1/2" in diameter with a 5/8" (16mm) diameter iris, and have the quality cast 'white' part of the eye, just like our Standard Cast and High Quality eyes. The Economy eyes have the familiar injection molded irises. You get two quality cast eyeballs and two irises, your choice of color (Blue, Green, or Amber). Includes instructions on installation and how to alter the colors slightly if desired (e.g., from bright blue to deep blue, from amber to deep brown, etc.)

   Our new 'High Quality' cast eyes are now available. You can select any one of the nine dazzling colors when you order below.

   Keep in mind that sometimes computer monitors alter what you see color wise. If the eye colors don't look absolutely beautiful on your screen, that may be why. If you're having trouble seeing them accurately, you might try printing out the color chart.

   Our eyes have a superior casting process and are bubble free! No hidden pinholes around the iris or elsewhere. They look as good in person as they do in the photos. No surprises with our eyes!

They come standard with pre drilled pivot holes and recessed top.

    The recessed top where the pivot hole is located, is nice if you will be installing winkers. That way the top of the pivot rods or machine screws will not interfere with the winker mechanism. The recessed eyes can of course be used even if you are not going to install winkers. They work great with winker or non-winker mechanisms.

   Made from one of the toughest resins available. Permanently installed quality brass rod pivots which are absolutely smooth compared to screw type pivots. Rear of eye tray has cut outs to allow for winker springs (not included) movement. Eye trays include brass sleeves and two methods of attaching eyes to the eye tray, and full instructions.

    Eye trays are made for our cast Fred head, Little 'E' cast head, or our cast Sparky head, and fit these heads perfectly with the eye distance already done for you. All the guess work is gone. If you order eyes, we will 'professionally' install the brass sleeves inside the eyes for you at no extra cost!

   Made from the highest grade of vacuum formed styrene. You have a choice of tabbed or tab-less winker shells, for your choice of building style.

Groove in top of the styrene winker shell is perfect for 3/32" brass rod commonly used by many figure makers. Important: The groove on our shells wraps around the back side (click here to see photo) for the most solid bond when gluing. This is unique to the winker shells made by Puppets and Props.

These are the same winker shells that we use in our Professional Finished Figures that we sell. Comes with instructions. No brass hardware provided.
