Although our standard deep color irises have been very popular, there have been requests for some brighter shades of irises on the cast eyes. We do listen to customer feedback, so now there's a choice of deep color eyes, or the new bright color eyes. See above to compare. You can select deep color or bright color eyes on our secure shopping cart.
Our professionaly cast eyeballs are made specifically for pro style vent figures. They are 1 1/2" in diameter with a 5/8" (16mm) diameter iris and come with pre drilled pivot holes! |

1/4" post hole in rear of eyeball
| These professionally cast eyes come with nicely inset injection molded irises and predrilled pivot holes. The pivot holes are drilled to 3/16" diameter which will fit a standard #10 brass or metal machine screw. Or you can use a brass sleeve (brass tube 3/16" in dia), to be inserted into the eyeball pivot hole and then a corresponding brass rod (5/32" in dia.) can be used for the actual pivot rod. The hobby shops stock the brass tube as stock no. 129 and the brass rod as no. 165 (K & S Engineering is the manufacturer). These nice cast eyes also have a post hole (1/4" diameter) drilled in rear of eye for your convenience. |

| Note: Our new bright color eyes have more depth, and bring out the veining in the iris. This is much more noticeable when you see the eyes in person. Photos can only capture so much.

| Cast eyeballs are perfect for the 'Pro Vent Figure Head Castings' and will fit many other pro size vent figure heads as well (for some figures 1 1/4" inch diameter eyes would work better). So whether you are building a figure from our kits or are building your own figure from scratch........... make life easier on yourself and let us do the hard parts for you! You'll be glad you did!!

 Recessed and non-recessed eyes
Cast eyeball with recess
| Cast eyeballs now come standard with recessed top. The recessed top where the pivot hole is located, is nice if you will be installing winkers. That way the top of the pivot rods or machine screws will not interfere with the winker mechanism (see diagram above; click to enlarge). The recessed eyes can of course be used even if you are not going to install winkers. They work great with winker or non-winker figures.
