My wife and I were visiting the relatives and were watching our young nieces playing. Our niece Ember (who was about 2 years old at the time) has the cutest little face ever, and we kept saying to each other, "wouldn't she be cute as a vent figure?!?" Thus was born the inspiration for the sculpture of the cute little face you see on Little 'E' ('E' stands for Ember!) I had photos of her in front of me for reference while sculpting.
